Whitney Houston is a Big Liar.
That's right, I said it!
This weekend, I heard the song 'The Greatest Love of All' for the first time in years. You know, the Whitney Houston song that starts out 'I believe that children are our future'. I was sitting there listening to it, thinking about how she's probably right, the children are the future.
As the song progressed and neared the end, Whitney sung, "No matter what they take from me, they can't take away my dignity.'
This brought me to thinking: Whitney is a big liar! They did take away her dignity. It's gone. It's vanished in a cloud of crack smoke and spousal abuse.
In an interview in 2003, Whitney totally denied smoking crack. She claimed she was too rich for crack. Liar!
Furthermore, this makes me question the validity of children being the future. Maybe they aren't the future. Oh, sure, they'll live in the future, because they'll be born later, that much is obvious. But are they really the future?
I say no. I say the future is in cyborgs and virtual reality.
